Richard "Ricky" Stewart, age 56, of St. Cloud, died Sunday, April 25, 2021 at his home.
Funeral Services will be held 11:00 a.m. Friday, April 30, 2021 at St. John's Lutheran Church in Kimball with Rev. David Milz officiating. Burial will follow at Kimball Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 4-7 p.m. on Thursday and 10-10:45 a.m. on Friday, both at the church. A prayer service will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday at the church. Services will be livestreamed on the funeral home website.
Richard Lee Stewart was born September 22, 1964 in St Cloud, Minnesota to Ira and Shirley (Schmidt) Stewart. He was baptized at St. John's Lutheran Church in Kimball and grew up in rural Kimball. He graduated from Apollo High School in St. Cloud. Ricky moved to Opportunity Matters in St. Cloud 24 years ago and worked with WACOSA in St. Cloud. He loved John Deere tractors, dancing, and being with family and friends. Ricky had the ability to steal a person's heart with his up-beat personality. He was loved by many and will be missed.
He is survived by his brothers and sisters, Ronald (Wanda) Stewart of Kimball, Diane Sheldon of Kimball, Roger (Candy) Stewart of Kimball and Debbie (Jeff) Bechtold of St. Augusta; neices and nephews, Dan, Tony, Jessica, Jody, Jackie, Jerry, Samantha, Kaitlyn, Tyler and Casey; great-nieces and great-nephews, Eli, Athena, Angelique, Andrew, Madelyn, Tristan, Garrett, Cody, Brittney, Austin, Amber, Bryce and Isaac; and many aunts, uncles, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ira and Shirley Stewart; infant brother, Douglas Stewart; and nephew, Joseph Stewart.
The casket bearers will be Anthony Stewart, Daniel Stewart, Derrick Warnecke, Tyler Bechtold, Robert Stewart and Matthew Massmann. Eli Warnecke will serve as an honorary casket bearer.
