Kevin J. Lehse, age 56, of Fairhaven (South Haven), died August 9, 2022, at St. Cloud Hospital.
Services will be 11:00 a.m. Monday, August 15, 2022, at St. John's Lutheran Church in Annandale with Pastor Alex Becker officiating. Burial will follow at Fairhaven Cemetery. Visitation will be from 3:00-7:00 p.m. Sunday, August 14, 2022, at the church as well as one hour before the service on Monday. Prayer Service will be 6:30 p.m. Sunday. Family asks that attendees wear masks at the services.
Kevin Jerome Lehse was born August 15, 1965, in Minneapolis, Minnesota, to Lloyd and Alois (Klegstad) Lehse. In his early years he lived in Richfield and in 1977 the family moved to Fairhaven, Minnesota. He graduated from Kimball High School in 1985. He spent the majority of his career in manufacturing; for the past 13 years he worked in product development at Koronis Parts Inc. in Paynesville. Kevin was well known for his ability to make friends wherever he went and his outgoing personality. He spent his time drawing, creating miniature models, restoring antique tractors and snowmobiles, and riding motorcycles. He was proud that his rat rod was featured on the cover of issue 41 of Rat Rod Magazine and won numerous trophies in local car shows. He will be deeply missed by his family and friends.
Kevin belonged to the Rat Rod Junkies, Western Minnesota Steam Threshers Reunion, Snohaven Drift Demons Snowmobile Club, the Antique Snowmobile Society and the Antique Snowmobile Club of America for which he was the past Minnesota director and Facebook manager. He also was an active member of the Midwest Vintage Snowmobile Show, where his artwork was used for the design of event clothing.
Kevin is survived by his parents, Lloyd and Alois Lehse of Fairhaven; brother, Christopher (Cheri) Lehse of Fairhaven Township; and nephews, Parker and Conner Lehse.
Casket bearers will be Kevin Albers, Tony Rolfes, Valerie Sjovall, Guy Stuve, Ed Vinkemeier and Mike Wohlman. Arrangements are entrusted with Dingmann Funeral Care Burial & Cremation Services of Kimball.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to American Cancer Society or the donor's choice.
