Evelyn Louise Loch & Hazel Monica Loch Obituary

The exciting and joyous moments of pregnancy turned to sorrow as Evelyn Louise Loch and Hazel Monica Loch, twin daughters of Matthew and Jaclyn Loch, died shortly after their births.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held 3:00 p.m. Friday, June 11, 2021 at St. Timothy Catholic Church, Maple Lake with Fr. John Meyer as Celebrant. Burial will follow at St. Timothy Catholic Cemetery, Maple Lake. No public visitation will be held. The service will be live-streamed on the funeral home website.

After growing in love for 20 weeks and 6 days, Evelyn Louise was born prematurely on Saturday, May 29, 2021 at home in Big Lake at 5:00 a.m. She weighed 9.4 ounces and was 9 1/2 inches long. Uncertain how long Evelyn's tiny heart and lungs would be able to overcome the obstacles in front of her, she graced her parents with overwhelming pride and love as they held Evelyn in their arms. She was baptized in the presence of her parents; her godparents are Jeff and Andrea Dunnigan. Evelyn took her last breath at 11:54 a.m. that same day at the Monticello Hospital.

Four days after her sister's birth, Hazel Monica was delivered at the Maple Grove Hospital at 3:50 a.m. on Wednesday, June 2, 2021 after growing in love in her mother's womb. Hazel weighed 9 1/2 ounces and was 9 1/2 inches long. Despite the hardships of being born at 21 weeks and 3 days, Hazel's strong will was evident. In the presence of her parents, she was baptized as a child of God; her godparents are Brandon and Donna Bares. At 5:30 a.m on Wednesday, Hazel took her last breath while in the loving embrace of her parents' arms.

While their time on Earth was brief, Evelyn Louise and Hazel Monica blessed their parents with the gifts of the sound of their heartbeats, the fluttering feelings of their movements, the sight of their lungs inhaling and exhaling, and the overwhelming feeling of love.

Evelyn and Hazel are survived by their parents, Matthew and Jaclyn Loch of Big Lake; grandparents, Amy Loch of Maple Lake, and Jay and Julie Beiersdorf of Green Bay; great-grandparents, Monica Loch, Hazel Wagner, and Gerald Beiersdorf; and several aunts, uncles, cousins, and extended family members. They were preceded in death by their grandfather, Mark Loch; aunt, Caroline Loch; and great-grandparents, Jules Loch, Hilmer Wagner, Carl and Clara Kotilinek, and Patricia Beiersdorf.

Jeff and Andrea Dunnigan, Veronica Loch, and Julie Barnholtz will serve as casket bearers. Krista Elsenpeter and Sarah Goelz will provide music for the service. Arrangements are entrusted to Dingmann Funeral Care Burial and Cremation Services of Maple Lake.
