Anthony G. Heitz, age 48, of Kingston, died Wednesday, January 20, 2021 as a result of an automobile accident north of Kimball.
Public walk through visitation will be held 4-6 p.m. Friday, February 5, 2021 at Dingmann Funeral Care Chapel in Annandale. Private Memorial Services will be held 7:00 p.m. Friday, February 5 with Mary Messina serving as the Life Tribute Celebrant. The service will be livestreamed on the funeral home's website.
Anthony Gerald Heitz was born July 23, 1972 at St. Francis Hospital in Shakopee to Gerald and Carol (Luebke) Heitz. The family lived in Chaska when Tony was born and moved to Cape Coral, Florida during his formative years. The family moved back to Annandale where Tony graduated from Annandale High School with the Class of 1990. He enlisted in the Army, where he was trained as an automotive mechanic. He lived in Charolette, North Carolina prior to moving to Kingston seven years ago. On June 22, 2017, Tony was united in marriage to Sarah Reed at their home in Kingston. Tony worked various jobs in the auto industry and was currently working for O'Reilly Auto Parts in St. Joseph. Tony enjoyed working on vehicles, tearing things apart, terrorizing his pets, celebrating Halloween, and playing billiards. He will be remembered for his giving nature and the impact that he made on those that knew him.
Tony is survived by his wife, Sarah of Kingston; mother, Carol Heitz of South Haven; sister, Lori (Ryan) Jones of Annandale; grandmother, Avis Luebke; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Carol and Bruce Reed of Braham; brothers-in-law, Zach (Bonnie) Reed of Chisago City and Glen Reed of Braham; niece, Morgan Jones; and nephew, Logan Reed. He was preceded in death by his father, Gerald Heitz.
